Class A Motorhomes
This is the antenna system installed on most Class A Motorhomes the center mounted antenna is for AM/FM and the antenna over the driver is the CB antenna.

The system works very well when it's new.

Once a year you go up on the roof and remove the antenna, clean the connections and spray it with WD-40 and put it back together.

It then should work as it did when it was new.

This shows how a radio and external speaker can be mounted in a motorhome and look nice.

You may recognize this radio as the Cherokee Night Rider 150 - It appeared in the movie JoyRide.

For those of you who would like better performance out of your communications system.

This shows an after market antenna installation on our 1994 Winnebago Brave.  You can use either a K40 Trucker or a Wilson 2000 Trucker in this application.

This is a close up picture of what the side mount looks like when properly installed.

You will notice that it has a clear sealant around it as well.

When you know you have done the installation correctly but you still don't have the performance you want - try this and see what happens.

This is an Antenna Tuner

it electrically adjusts the length of the coax until the antenna operates efficiently and gives you the lowest possible SWR for maximizing the performance of your existing antenna.

The signal light bulb is pictured to show you how small this unit really is.

$50.00 with needed coax
