Tech Notes:

We recommend a Noise Canceling Mic, such as an Astatic 636L or an RK56.

This radio is built with a 12 watt (PEP) Final. Although it is limited to 3.8 watt (RMS) maximum performance from the factory, we recommend a Peak and Tune. 

We also recommend replacing the stock final with a 1969 final, which will more than double the PEP and will last longer in less than ideal systems ie: a bad antenna or stud.
